Brass Door Plates

Polished or satin brass door plates are a perennial classic. We machine C360 free-cutting brass on a CNC turning centre with live tooling to create clean drilled mounting holes and chamfered edges. Brass plates are lacquered with a water-clear UV-stable lacquer rated to ISO 4268 assessment of degradation of coatings — resisting tarnish for 5+ years without re-polishing.

Acrylic Door Plates

Slim-profile 5mm acrylic door plates in frosted or clear finishes are our most popular contemporary option. They are laser-cut to tolerance on our galvo-scanning CO2 laser system and can be self-adhesive mounted using 3M VHB (Very High Bond) tape Series 4950, which provides a long-term shear strength of ≥40 N/cm² per ASTM D1002 standard test method for apparent shear strength of single-lap-joint adhesively bonded metal specimens.

Slate Door Plates

Production takes 7–10 working days for standard orders, or 3–4 weeks for specialist finishes including gold leaf gilding and multi-layer LED assemblies.
